In their latest adventure, Ann and Karen spent a day in the Burbank based studio for a taping of the Carol Duvall Show. The cable program on Home and Garden Television (HGTV) hosted by arts and crafts expert Carol Duvall features artists demonstrating the latest in craft supplies and techniques. Karen presented a step by step approach to making a decorative mosaic box using liquid Sculpey. The sisters were joined in the studio by Tamara Snyder, Karen's former college roommate, who flew in from Arkansas to witness the exciting day on the set. The mosaic episode is tentatively scheduled to air Tuesday, February 22 at 11:00 am Pacific time and re-air on Saturday, February 26 at 11:30 am Pacific time on HGTV. Please check the program guide at HGTV. com to confirm the air date of episode #813.
Ann and Karen' s first craft publication article entitled "Liquid Sculpey Mosaics" can be seen in the February 2000 issue of Jewelry Crafts magazine. The article and project highlight some of the new possibilities in polymer clay design with liquid Sculpey. Ann's husband, Ai Buangsuwon, took the photographs for the article.
