Events: March 14 (Sunday), 2010 - Sierra Madre Wistaria Festival Arts and Crafts FaireOutdoor arts and crafts show in downtown Sierra Madre at Sierra Madre Blvd. and Baldwin Ave. Show hours: 9 am to 5 pm. Booth #165, on north side of Sierra Madre Blvd., near the park. March 20, 2010 - NEW-Trunk Show at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden Shop, Claremont We will be showing our jewelry at a trunk show at the California Garden Shop at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden in Claremont at this first time event. There is no admission to the garden shop open house, only to the gardens. The trunk show takes place from 9 am to 5 pm. April 2-4, 2010 - NEW- Indian Wells Arts Festival The show is located at the east Concourse on the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Show hours: Friday through Sunday gates are open to the public 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, show closes at 5:30 pm. April 9-11, 2010 - The Great Craft Festival- Las Vegas Come and join us in Las Vegas at Cashman Center, booth #R8! April 25 (Sunday), 2010 - Polymer Clay Jewelry Classes at Brea Bead Works First class is 10 am to 1 pm, second class is 2 pm to 5 pm. Class descriptions: "Wrought Iron with Clay"-Wrought iron scrollwork inspired by architectural elements comes to life in this simple yet elegant cane. By adding dimension to traditional canes with shaping and embellishing with beads, you will learn in this workshop ways to go a step beyond caning to create unique, multi-functional, mixed media components for your jewelry design. "Leaf Bangle"- Nature themes are abundant in Spring!! Learn to make a simple and modern version of a leaf cane and apply the cane to a bangle using one of two techniques. The bangle can be completed using leaf impressions in translucent clay that are glazed with a tinted liquid clay and decorated with tiny rhinestones. Your bangle will be the perfect addition to your spring wardrobe! All skill levels welcome. Each class costs $45. You can register for these classes at www.breabeadworks.com. May 1-2, and May 22-23, 2010 - Renaissance Pleasure Faire Takes place at the Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area in Irwindale at the 210 and 605. Please go to www.renfair.com for ticket information. May 7-9, 2010 - Spring Open House at AnKara Studio Annual Spring Open House at the AnKara Designs Studio. Come and see the latest jewelry designs. Shop for Mother's Day, or update your wardrobe with accessories! Friday 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Saturday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Sunday 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. June 5-6, 2010 - Montrose Arts and Crafts Festival At Honolulu and Ocean View in Montrose. Show hours: Saturday 10-6, Sunday 10-5. Pending confirmation. June 11-13, 2010 - Contemporary Crafts Market- Santa Monica Elegant arts and crafts show at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. |
